HISTORY OF CHINESE CRICKET

The game Cricket played in china by Shanghai Cricket Clu b in 1858. They played many tournament inside the country. Shanghai Club is the largest club in the China. They also played many game against touring side but they were not official  national team till 1948.



          With the assistance of the Asian Cricket Council the Chinese Cricket Association conducted eight coaching/Umpiring Course training  in September 2005. Now Cricket played in China by the nine cities. The Cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Tainjin and Jinan. The  cricket played more than 150 School in China.

          For ACC Cup Trophy in 2009 took by China that was the representative  tournament of their first appearance. In their group match the Chinese lost all and  they lost by 315 run against the Maldives. In their  first ever international China recorded seventeenth place playoff by winning  against Myanmar match by 118 runs

          In the United Arab Emirates China attended in the ACC Twenty20 Cup in  2009. In their first game they lost against Afghanistan by 9 wickets , in that match within  37 runs , all of them bowled out. In their group games China lost allby wide margins, a low record was built by china that they lost by 209 runs in the United Arab Emirates. China got 27 runs with 15 runs  came from extra  during the UAE’s innings . Their place eleventh place play off due to lost to Bahrain. Thus their position in the tournament in twelfth and last place



          In the Asian games  China took part, where as host , there played against Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates .
